From the ancient art of physiognomy, five ways to read a person’s spiritual character:
- Language and voice — righteous individuals speak firmly and clearly; the weak speak haltingly; those lacking wisdom speak confusingly.
- Demeanor — noble people carry themselves with dignity; small-minded individuals use clever words and false expressions.
- Work methods — those who help others possess righteousness; those seeking only profit are base; the inconsistent are deceitful.
- The eyes — intelligent eyes shine brightly; courageous eyes gleam; righteous people have warm eyes; wicked people show killing intent.
- Facial appearance — benevolent people have harmonious features; stubborn people appear rigid; petty people have small eyes; deceitful people have tapered noses.
