Your responsibility is clear: prepare the soil, plant the seed, water it, fertilize it, remove pests. Do your part completely.
Then let go of the results. Results depend on karma — on conditions beyond your control. You cannot force a tree to grow faster than its nature allows.
Attempting to accelerate what cannot be accelerated causes harm. It is a wrong view that creates suffering.
Trust the practice. Maintain discipline. Release attachment to outcomes. The tree will grow in its own time — and so will you.
