A four-level framework for personal mastery, based on the UNESCO model:
Level 1 — Execution Capacity: Master the foundational knowledge of your field. But remember: “knowledge is just words unless it is applied to produce a real result.”
Level 2 — Effectiveness Capacity: Develop practical skills to apply that knowledge efficiently and precisely.
Level 3 — Influence Capacity: Discover and cultivate your innate strengths to become excellent and distinctive in your field. (Tools like DMIT can support this process.)
Level 4 — Leadership Capacity: Combine intellect, ethics, and willpower to become a leader whose influence creates positive change in your community and society.
Most people stop at Level 2. The gap between Level 2 and Level 4 is almost entirely attitudinal.
